Bringing Biblical Studies from the seminary to the pew.
For those seeking an authentic engagement with scripture and a deeper relationship with God.
I am available to teach biblical studies to adult learners. If you are interested in having me come to your church or community to lead an exciting, fun, interactive, and multi-media learning experience, please contact me at email@example.com.
Some of the more popular courses offered are:
- Introduction to Biblical studies, Old and New Testaments
- Who is Jesus in the New Testament?
- Pauline Thought and Modern Life
A custom course can also be created for you on a specific book in the Bible, or on key biblical themes.
What to expect
In these Bible studies, we will engage questions, and, with God’s grace, we will come into a new level of authenticity in our spiritual experience. Challenging and dynamic, this is a Bible study with fresh new edges and exciting possibilities.
These classes are very interactive, with regular use of movie clips, music, art, and poetry to help understand some of the issues involved in interpreting biblical texts. Students become involved through extensive conversation. Sometimes, it is a mock debate, or acting out a scene from the Gospel of John, or from a parable. In all of this engaging with contemporary scholarship in service of a better understanding of biblical texts.
